Restaurant Kanbambú
The gastronomy of our Kanbambú restaurant comes inherited from the proprietor of Spanish origin, inheritance which is conjugated with Costa Rican ingredients to create a flavors alchemy that will make our menu a delightful experience to all our guests. Our menu introduction comes from Oscar Wilde “I can resist everything but temptations”.
Whether you drink the natural coconut milk, an exotic cocktail, a snack at our Babu Beach Bar, or a gourmet cuisine dinner at our Kanbambú restaurant Timarai and Kanbambu restaurant are just willing to fulfill your cuisine tastes even beyond your expectations (Our Kanbambú restaurant obtained the first price at the 2005 national architecture contest because of it’s monumental structure, ecological and sustainable project unique not just in Costa Rica but worldwide) Timarai’s philosophy is to provide a friendly, relaxed and attentive service. Mediterranean gourmet cuisine mixed with the Costa Rican nourishments, try our Marlin with mango sauce or our traditional paella and end with a Flamed banana.
Feel like on the middle of the jungle, our Kanbambú restaurant is open to outside in 180º giving the impression of being just outside at the jungle and will delight your senses either by the surrounding nature, by its impressive architecture as well as it’s fabulous meals. Before lunch, take a swim at our beach and get the most refreshing cocktail by the pool or if you prefer the beach, walk just 150 feet, lay down on a hammock or just go to our Babu Beach Bar were our staff will attend you as you deserve.
For special group events, let Timarai's Catering Service amaze you with a beautiful and exquisite buffet, catered picnics and drinks service. A favorite is a bonfire at Palo Seco Beach at night for your wedding reception or special gathering, and in order to create any desired ambience we can also help you in arranging a live music band or disco for you.
Or we can organize a beach barbecue with dining with torchlight’s and bonfires, such an ambience that none of your guests will forget the experience. Mangrove is also a splendid location to make a tour with our staff serving a deluxe picnic.
But if you have any other idea in mind, we can probably fulfill your desire, we always say; imagination has no limit probably neither our will to serve you. Even if you are staying in Manuel Antonio, Quepos or Jaco we are very close and may be you find we are what you were looking for meanwhile you taste our recipes and enjoy the magnificent kanbambu restaurant and its surroundings.
